Disgusting News hatten von Anfang an nicht die Intention auf irgendeinen fahrenden Zug aufzuspringen. Machen was Bock macht und spielen was gefällt. Bloß nicht auf der Stelle bewegen. Das Hardcore-Punk Quartett aus Bielefeld spielt seit 2018 zusammen und hatte nach einem Jahr schon halb Deutschland bereist. Gespielt wird schneller, aggressiver Punk, dem es nicht an Melodie fehlt. Die Texte von Sängerin Vanessa behandeln die Psyche, Fehlverhalten in der Gesellschaft und Politik und natürlich Fehler im System.

From the start, Disgusting News had no intention of jumping on any bandwagon. Do what you want and play what you like. Just don’t stand still. The hardcore punk quartet from Bielefeld has been playing together since 2018 and had already toured half of Germany in their first 12 months as a band. The aim od game is faster, more aggressive punk that is not lacking in melodic elements. Singer Vanessa’s lyrics deal with the psyche, societal misconduct, politics and of course flaws in the system.
